How to scale a sustainable food and drink business

Event Description

What does it take to grow a food or drink business on the three pillars of the sustainable economy - people, planet and profit?

Join us for an in-person workshop with Julia Kirby-Smith, founder of Better Food Traders. Following the masterclass, there will be time for questions, plus networking with other food and drink founders.

The session will cover:

  • Sustainability as a selling point
  • Articulating your mission and vision
  • What are your KPIs?
  • The importance of a business plan

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear important insights from a specialist in food and sustainability.

Limited places available.

About the speaker

Julia Kirby-Smith has had a diverse career, starting out in broadcast journalism and strategic communications before shifting into food and sustainability. She founded, grew and sold an urban farm shop and online retailer, and now leads Better Food Traders, a UK-wide network that supports and promotes food traders who sell local, sustainably-grown produce. She is also Chair of the Eating Better alliance, a network of 60 organisations working to accelerate the transition from too much meat and dairy consumption to healthier and more sustainable diets.
