This webinar will guide you through the process of dealing with contract manufacturers, so you can learn to speak their language. You will leave this webinar with a better understanding of the processes that your product goes through when scaling up production.
About the Speaker
Prior to gaining her Bachelors in Food and Nutrition, Zoe Plant trained as a high-end chef, working with celebrities including Gordon Ramsey and Angela Harnett. She has cooked for prestigious guests including Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III and Nelson Mandela. Later she had great success developing products for national retailers including M&S and Sainsbury’s. In addition to her product development expertise, Zoe has Level 4 in Sustainable Practices for Food Business qualifications
Zoe is also a judge for the prestigious Great Taste Awards, run by the Guild of Fine Foods.
About the Food Works SW
The Food Works SW is a purpose-built facility in Weston-super-Mare’s junction 21 enterprise zone. The facility is owned by North Somerset Council and operated by the Future Food Partnership.
The site includes 12 high-quality food manufacturing units of varying sizes, suitable for both start-ups and scaling businesses that need room to grow. All units are constructed to the highest specification and meet BRCGS double AA standard.
Tenants and food and drink producers from the region benefit from access to five fully-equipped test kitchens, Technical Team support, and the site’s fully-equipped conference rooms and business lounge.
