Kent Business School is offering an exciting opportunity to join their team on a part-time basis to support a new Mentoring Programme as part of the Growing Kent & Medway (GKM) project.

GKM is a world-class research, innovation and enterprise cluster that supports growth in technology-driven horticultural production, food and drink processing, and manufacturing.

The Mentoring Programme is a vital part of the project, providing support for new start-up and existing businesses helping them to realise their ambitions, develop their professional skills and create a legacy of peer networks which is a critical aim of the GKM project.

As the Mentoring Programme Officer you will provide operational support and coordination of the programme and its activity, facilitating businesses to achieve sustainable growth.

As Mentoring Programme Officer you will:

  • Take operational responsibility for the Mentoring Programme
  • Respond timely to, and follow up on enquiries into the Mentoring Programme
  • Support the marketing, promotion and recruitment of the Mentoring programme
  • Take responsibility for certain costings and financial reports
  • Support the Mentor Manager to ensure businesses continue to benefit from support in future years.
  • Support the development of new and existing services
