Gary has a background in commercial finance, and stepped into a role at Canterbury Christ Church University to use industry experience to build a collaborative network with academia to support sustainable change.
Gary found his passion for working with food-based businesses when he was appointed as an Agricultural Relationship Manager where he developed a portfolio of farming clients across the UK and supported their journeys to transition towards Net Zero and income diversification via food production and sale.
Within his role at CCCU, Gary is responsible for building and developing network leads with a view of driving meaningful partnerships, working with academia and businesses to understand and develop collaboration potential. With his experience, Gary is well versed in working with businesses of all sizes – from Start-up to Mid-Market Enterprises and enjoys supporting each business through their challenges.
