Grant Information

Rural businesses and communities can apply to the West Kent Rural Grants scheme (funded by the Government’s Rural England Prosperity fund) for funding to support jobs, communities and economic growth.

Grants of £2,000 to £24,999 are available for the 2024/25 financial year.

The funding is for capital projects and match funding is required. Other terms and conditions apply.

Applications are considered by a Grant Panel that meets throughout the year. The next Panel meeting dates are:

Wednesday 24 January 2024
The deadline to submit your application for this meeting is Wednesday 10 January 2024.

Tuesday 6 March 2024
The deadline to submit your application for this meeting is Tuesday 21 February 2024.

Tuesday 16 April 2024
The deadline to submit your application for this meeting is Tuesday 2 April 2024.

Further grant decision panel dates will be released while funding remains available. 

The West Kent Rural Grant scheme will close when all funds have been allocated.

To be eligable, your organisation must be within a rural area of Sevenoaks District, Tonbridge and Malling Brorough or Tunbridge Wells Borough as defined by Defra. You can check this using the interactive Magic Map or the REPF map showing the rural areas.
